About

Once, a fairly decent length of time ago in a country town far, far away, a young man sitting at his computer stumbled by accident into the blogosphere. Bewildered and disoriented by the fumes, he wandered from rambling island to hallucinogen-fuelled epileptic forest for hours, tab explosions speckling the sky above, before finally collapsing at the base of a sci-fi blog on the outer edges of the sphere.

Dazed and nearly unconscious, with the sun rising outside, the young man discovered in his hands an amazing (yet disturbingly common) power – the power to shape webpages and create a blog of his own without having to fiddle with all that annoying code. Revived by this discovery, he retreated to the grey, unformed space betwixt the blogs and out of the nothing created his own small island, to be a place of sanity and science, interspersed with occasional bursts of philosophy amid the whirling textual chaos. While he shaped, he looked on at others, as examples both good and bad, and discovered that there were many other blogs that professed to be the same, many of which surpassed the young man’s abilities. Sourly, he returned to his blogspace, which was nearing completion, and across the creed of providing intellectual stimulation and pleasant prose to the uncaring virtual universe, he scrawled a single word: Unconcerned.

So was this blog born, for nothing, to nothing and of nothing. After much passing time and several irregular updates, it hasn’t changed.
